Welcome! I am Russ Thompson, I retired teacher, author, and lifelong storyteller from Sudbury Ontario.

The Long Lake Series follows Rusty, Grace, and Mr. Dunbar, and a cast of unforgettable characters throughout humorous cottage adventures that celebrate friendship, family, and the simple joy of life at the lake. Whether you're relaxing at the cottage, sitting on the dock, or at home dreaming of summer, I hope these stories bring a smile to your face.

In addition to writing a long series, I'm also the creator of the Reeverse anti-bullying books, helping young people build confidence, kindness, and respect.
